Hong Kong Trip

Recently, just go for a 5 days 4 night trip to Hong Kong. Not a very happy trip but for an experience. This trip let me learn a few things...

Locker
Locker is a very useful to tourist.
The moment we reach HK airport, we deposit our luggage at the airport and head off to Lantau Island. After the pray pray session and the shopping at the outlet, we went back to airport to collect our luggage and go check in to our hotel. It save us the trouble to travel to Lantau Island with our luggage and we need to climb up the stair to meet Buddha.
(Luggage deposit cost : HKD 55 per luggage for 4 hrs to 24 hrs)

On the day we visit to Disneyland, it was a sunny day. We bring along our sweater or coat to Disneyland, so we have to rent a locker. We are able to open it more than once and lock it again.
(Locker rental: HKD 50 (Big locker) per day)

Chili
I actually carry chili sauces along with me. The food in HK is nice but I realised that I cannot live without chili. We tried not to eat the chili as we are very pai sei to show others that we are typical Singaporean... but soon we started eating dim sum, we discover we must need chili sauce.

Customer Service
Although, I am warned that the customer service and the attitude of HK Citizen are not that good. I have lower my expectation but hai...

Airport
We almost cannot board onto the plane. The reason is we check in late and we though that it should be quite fast for custom clearance and board onto the plane. But this thinking is totally wrong... after custom clearance we still need to board onto a trip to go to another place and climb up the stairs and walk a distance and take a mini bus to reach our plane.

Maybe I am a frog in the well or Singaporean are really that fortunate. Once after custom clearance, it took us less than 5 mins to reach the plane but in HK, I really need to travel a distance. I not to sure about other countries but in Singapore, we never need to travel a long distance. Imagined that I hand carry 8 boxes of wife biscuit and run aroung like crazy in HK airport.
